The Self-Hating non-Cook
The Self-Hating Non-Cook is not proud. The Self-Hating Non-Cook is not liberated. The Self Hating Non-Cook has not come to accept her non-cook status on any level, not even the equivocal. She can't take it easy on herself. She can't let it go. She cannot cheerlead herself into performing any kind of calculus of self worth, like: Well, I can't get it together to cook, but my finances are totally in order, and I floss my teeth every night, and I have a certificate to do hands only CPR! The Self-Hating Non-Cook feels lame, ashamed, low down, and often at odds with herself when investigating the fridge. She is at sixes and sevens in the grocery store. Pot luck dinners: bad news.
