On the Relativity of Picky
an investigation of the attitudes of my family
In this video, my beloved husband Hiroyuki  declares that I am picky and that our younger son is also picky; he feels that our older son is not picky. Himself? He notes that he eats everything, but eats bad things, too, so maybe he should be picky.  He asks what I mean by the Relitivity of Picky, feeling, perhaps, that picky is picky no matter how you slice it.
In this video my older son confirms that neither he nor his dad is picky, and that both his brother and his mom are. He seems optimistic that my pickiness and his brother's pickiness may change in the future. However,  I should mention that in another interview he was downright pessimistic about this, so maybe his opinion about the matter is in flux.  I know mine sure is.
In this video, my younger son  is explaining his perspective on my pickiness.  He also acknowledges his own pickiness, though under close questioning. Although I am thought to be picky by other family members, apparently he does not share this view.  Perhaps he is comparing me to himself.  This demonstrates the Relativity of Picky, an important concept in family life.
