The Celebrity Non-Cook


The celebrity non-cook is the non-cook who is well known -- a celebrity! -- though not necessarily for not cooking. The not cooking or the non-cook sentiment may be a well known aspect of that person's persona (see link to a piece by Fran Lebowitz below) or a totally incidental aspect of that person's private personality that you would never know anything about if it weren't for the www and/or the celebrity keying into our fascinated-with-celebrities celebrity culture  (see link to video of  Anderson Cooper and his refrigerator below).  Then there is the celebrity who makes hay out of being a non-cook, but mostly as a means to exploring other things.  Because that kind of celebrity has other fish to fry (see link to abstract for an essay by the brilliant Calvin Trillin below).
